Courses are fully funded for Affiliated members who have paid their annual £10 fee. If you do not wish to affiliate but still want to complete the course you can do but will need to pay the full cost of £55. (Its much cheaper to affiliate) Courses will be run through the England Kickboxing Virtual College, so you can complete the course at home, the office or where ever you like. For best experience will be best to view over a laptop, PC or TV screen. It is accessible via your mobile phone but due to the duration of the course not advisable. The official WKO course for Corners and Seconds. ​ This course features all the knowledge and understanding needed to be a corner man to look after your Kickboxer during a contested bout. Understand Licencing & Insurance Understanding Kickboxing Injuries Understand how to treat cuts, swelling, bruises use of Adrenaline solution Understand Weigh ins and making Weight safely Understand Roles and Responsibilities Understand Cornerman Equipment and use of Understand Hand Wrapping techniques Understand Hygiene Understand Anti Doping Understand Diet and Nutrition Understand Post Fight First Aid Understand Safeguarding Understand Comotio Cordis Understand Concussion Understand CPR Understand Defibrillator Certificates will be valid for 3 years. All holders will be eligible to complete a refresher course every 3 years. ​ These courses are worth £55 WKO has generously funded England Kickboxing with £100,000 worth training courses to develop the sports of Kickboxing in England. ​ For further CPD WKO also offer higher level Coach, Instructor and Teacher qualifications, currently not covered under this funding.
